Today, we gather to welcome Jesus, just like the people of Jerusalem did long ago. We wave our palm branches and cry “Hosanna!”—Save us Lord! We sing our songs of joy, but still remember the journey ahead. The same crowd that cheered would soon cry, “Crucify Him!” This Palm Sunday I want you to reflect on what it means to welcome Jesus as our King, not a ruler of worldly power, but a humble Savior whose path leads to the cross. As we walk into Jerusalem in Joy we also walk into Holy Week. Let us walk with Him in faith, understanding the real reason for His kingship and salvation.
