Palm Sunday is a day filled with victory and celebration, yet it introduces the darkest week in our Lord’s life. Jesus has set His face like a flint. He heads toward Jerusalem where He will walk that dark week. A traitor disguised as a close friend will turn on Him. He will be arrested, beaten, denied by those who know Him best, nailed to a cross, die a horrible death of physical, mental and spiritual torture. His word, “It is finished” will finish this week.
…but that is not the end.
Easter comes.
